AXA appoints Acuity Coaching to manage coaching services

Acuity Coaching is to provide managed coaching services to AXA Group in a major contract that follows four years of rapid growth for the UK-based firm spurred on by client wins throughout the financial services, technology and professional services sectors.

Acuity Coaching will primarily focus on providing managed coaching services to AXA Wealth, whilst also acting as a supplier to the whole business.  The contract signed in June follows initial contact between the market leading coaching provider and AXA Group last October.  To secure the contract, Acuity Coaching developed a strategy to ease the resource and cost burden of AXA’s coaching needs, whilst improving coaching quality.

Capturing AXA Group’s business objectives and aligned with the leadership framework, the new coaching management system will provide regular management reports and access to coaching status information via an online portal.  As well as drawing on its network of 1500 coaches, Acuity Coaching validated AXA Group’s existing coaches to bring them into the coaching framework.  Aimed at senior management and executives based at AXA Group’s Bristol and London offices, each coaching assignment will typically run for six months.

Says Acuity Coaching managing director, Simon Coops: “The managed service saves clients both resources and money as it removes the significant overhead of HR having to handle coaching administration.  As well as providing a better quality of coaching, there are also no set up or management fees, so it’s an extremely attractive proposition for businesses looking to reduce costs, improve coaching quality and enable HR professionals to focus on adding value.”
